Crazy hype and competition in gaming and we are loving it!

Every since the start of computing, gaming had always been one of the main application that drove adoption, excitement and interest. Ask 10 of the programmers that you know why and how did they started to be interested in computing and more often than not, their reply would be gaming.

So fast forward to 2017, there’s a new hype in tech and there’s a new frontier again. This time is it Blockchain technology, Cryptocurrency and ICO. And the gaming industry is moving into this head first.

All of a sudden, we see lots of applications with the combination of all these 3 that has to do with the gaming industry. Be it eSports like Bountie, Virtual Goods Platform like Enjin or Cloud Gaming Platform like Playkey, there are lots of companies and teams working on this.

My friends ask me do I feel worried or threatened that there are so many players fighting for the same market, my answer is always the same: “We at Bountie are glad to be the explorers, the experimenters and the risk-takers in this current era. Facebook wasn’t the 1st social network that started, neither was Google the 1st search engine. We are taking in the competition in stride, accepting the challenges and letting our passion drive us. Every Fortune 500 companies were once a startup and that sole reason gives each and everyone hope and a fighting chance.

As long as we work harder than everyone, persevere longer than the other guy, one day we will emerge as the survivor. And if there’s going to be someone, why not us, Bountie.”
